Around the World in 80 Days Review!!

What an adventure we have had so far with Around the World in 80 Days! We have visited India, the Philippines, Japan, China, Australia, Hawaii, the Baltics, Scandinavia, and yesterday we enjoyed a fiesta in Mexico. We have had a blast so far. Here is a review of pictures showcasing our destinations throughout the last three weeks.  Enjoy!
Levin took us to the Philippines!

What a fun question and answer session.

He even taught us a dance that represents courtship in the Philippines. How romantic...

So fun! Having connections to BYU International Folk Dance is always a plus.

Fun face game when we visited Southern Asia.

Not quite on target there, Mr. Max.
A traditional custom of respect in Japan...
Also, do you remember the three different sitting positions? Come tell me and I'll give you a treat!

Learning more about Japan, thanks to our lovely Donna.

Aloha Hawaii!

We love Kaui! Thanks for coming and sharing your Hawaiian culture with us; Shayra enjoyed trying these on.

Max sports that piece well!

And Alexyn looks like Hawaiian royalty in her queen dress.

A little Hula dance, anyone?

Professional Hula dancers here!

The kids made Viking hats for Scandinavia!

What a bunch of cuties.

Wow, watch out!

Viva Mexico! Ole! Thanks Fabi and Steve, for presenting this day.

 How smashing!
Look at those traditional dresses.

And of course, some major pinata action!

Miss Brittany needed a turn!

And each parent got a whack or two in as well.

This activity seemed strangely therapeutic for some...
But Fabiola won in the end. Fitting, since she made the pinata and probably has the most practice! Okay maybe not being blindfolded has something to do with it. The kids are fanatically running to the candy where it crashed to the ground.

What great adventures we are enjoying on our airplane rides and destinations around the world! It is so fun to learn about international cultures, foods, games, songs, and dances. For your information, this upcoming week we plan on visiting Brazil, Hungary, and the Congo. You won't want to miss it! On Tuesday, I may or may not be dressed like a Hungarian gypsy...AND we have a famous BYU dance faculty member coming to present for the day!

Get some rest, I know you and your kids are all jet-lagged from our numerous flights already. And be prepared, because your crazy pilot just might throw in a few more loop-de-loops after take-off. Enjoy your weekend!
